  • Search by a part name. Example: water pump.
  • Be less specific. Example: brake instead of ceramic brake.
  • Remove information such as make, year or model.

Before summer starts, it's a good idea to do a little car maintenance. All kinds of weather, especially hot weather, can impact just about every major part of any car or SUV. Luckily, there's an easy way to prepare your INFINITI for the warmest months: do a comprehensive inspection. You can even make a "summer maintenance checklist" for it. Here's a few major inspection points.

Summer Car Maintenance Checklist

  • Check your car HVAC, specifically, its air conditioning system.
  • Look over your cooling system, including its radiator and radiator hoses. The system should be flushed and replenished about every 2 years. Be sure to also check coolant levels, concentration, and condition periodically.
  • Review the condition of your vehicle's many belts, including its serpentine and V belts, as well as other hoses.
  • Change your oil and oil filter if you need to. You should do this every 3 months or 3,000 miles or so.
  • Check and replace any air filters and fuel filters you need to.
  • Be sure to replace any worn, damaged, streaking, or squeaking windshield wiper blades.
  • Clean your interior and exterior lighting, replacing any dim or blown bulbs in the process.
  • Check your tire pressure, check all tire treads for wear, and rotate your tires if needed (which you should otherwise do every 5,000 miles or so.
  • Fix any issues with your brakes, and replace your brake pads, too, if you have to.
  • Test your battery.

If anything needs repair or replacement, be sure to order genuine INFINITI parts. Your OEM guarantees they'll work with your model, unlike aftermarket parts. You can buy what you need online here at our auto parts counter. We'll ship right to your door.
