The body of your INFINITI G20 sedan is made up of many parts. Most are thin panels comprised of metal, plastic, or fiberglass. They help protect you during accidents, they keep weather and debris out of your cabin, and they shield internal mechanical and electrical components, staving off corrosion in the process. Pillars, however, are vertical or nearly vertical supports for the car window area. Spoilers, though, cut down on air resistance. They're usually one of two types: up front, an air dam or deflector, or, in back, a wing. Their job is to smooth out the drive. Last but not least, trim is basically decoration, the parts that give a vehicle's body a more stylish look.
Internal body parts range just as widely. Stamped metal rockers are just one example. They run along a vehicle's sides, between its wheel wells, and their job is critical. It's to help to keep the front and rear ends from separating.
