The G series in the Infiniti lineup is made up of compact executive vehicles that were first introduced in 1991. The first two generations of the vehicle, also known as the P10 and P11, were based on the Nissan Primera. There were many different G models that came out with different features, including the G37. The G coupe was redesigned and premiered at the 2007 New York International Auto Show, and it featured a new V6 engine paired with a five speed automatic transmission. It was named the G37. It joined the updated G sedan under the Nissan Skyline nameplate. The G35 sedan was replaced by the G37 sedan in the 2009 model year and unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. In 2013, new naming was announced by Infiniti, and all passenger cars were designated with the letter Q. The G37 was named the Q40 beginning in 2015. If you drive a G37, you want to be sure you're using OEM parts and accessories for it so that they'll fit properly. You can find them here at Infiniti Parts Net.
